Although our collection of prints and cards is large, there is always one more subject, perhaps a canine friend; someone who is very special who might not be found in the show ring. We call these subjects, "Champions of the Heart." Here is your opportunity to arrange a portrait of this special friend alone, or with other subjects in a custom portrait. I always work from photographs and using one or several, I create a portrait in colored pencil and watercolor in the likeness and expression of your subject. Although all pencil and watercolor artwork should be matted and under glass, these portraits are truly paintings. Portraits are in two categories:

Reproduction This portrait is always 8 1/2 x 11" in size and J.S. Canina retains the reproduction rights. This size is the source for our print collection. 2011 price is $110 which includes shipping and insurance.

Commissioned These portraits come in three sizes, although other sizes are available by arrangement.

11 x 14", full color, matted and wrapped. The image area is approximately 7 1/2 x 10 1/2. Current price is $155 which includes shipping/handling and insurance.

14 x 18", full color, matted and wrapped, image area is approx 10 x 14. Current price is $245 which includes shipping/handling and insurance.
